I grew up writing. But it wasn’t until high school that I fell in love with language.
Language is the key to building relationships. But that isn’t all.
Encoded in each language are multiple histories – geography, class, alliances, enemies, politics, gender and cultural sharing.
In 2015 I decided to put my language skills to good use.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Comparative literature, language and translation. My focus was in German. And I had an interest in marketing.
Writing, coupled with my experience in web design and front-end development, allowed me better access to SEO. My journalism experiences in middle school and college helped me prepare a questioning mind. My self-motivation and independent language learning offered a glimpse into the business mindset.
I hope to share with freelancers and clients alike, what I have learned about language, engaging copy, SEO, and social media marketing.
